LAW DEBATES

Lawyers are pivotal advocates in advancing a progressive society, influencing legal policies and promoting the ideal functioning of society. Their advocacy is rooted in a deep understanding of legal theories combined with practical skills, enabling them to articulate opinions that can significantly impact both society and its stakeholders.
In Nepal, the debating community has been fortunate to witness exceptional talent emerging from law schools through various debate championships. These law students consistently demonstrate keen interest, active participation, and have often earned titles as champions. Recognizing the immense potential of these students in debating, there is a growing realization of the necessity to provide them with an international platform exclusively designed for law students to practice and compete.

This initiative not only aims to hone the debating skills of future legal professionals but also seeks to foster a deeper engagement with legal discourse on a global scale. By creating such opportunities, the Nepali debating community can further elevate the standards of legal advocacy and contribute to shaping informed and effective legal professionals who can navigate and influence complex societal issues.
